MGIS and MS SDS
Students have a team of advisors (reached at mgis.advising@e-education.psu.edu) until they get an advisor for their culminating project.
Once students have settled on a topic for their culminating project (capstone project for MGIS, scholarly paper or thesis for MS SDS), they will be assigned to an advisor who has interest and expertise in their topic.
MPS in Homeland Security
Once accepted into the MPS HLS program, students are assigned an academic advisor (see Academic Advising).
As students begin their capstone projects in GEOG 594A, they will be advised by the course instructor.
