MGIS and MS SDS
Students have a team of advisors (reached at info@gis.psu.edu) until they are assigned an advisor for their culminating project, which is either their instructor for the culminating experience class (GEOG 870 for MGIS / GEOG 570 for MS-SDS), or, an individual faculty member if a student chooses GEOG 596A/B for the MGIS degree or GEOG 600A/B for the MS-SDS degree.
MPS in Homeland Security
Once accepted into the MPS HLS program, students are assigned an academic advisor (see Academic Advising).
As students begin their capstone projects in GEOG 594A, they will be advised by the course instructor.
